A Creative Look at the Meaning of Tolerance

tol-er-ance:
a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one's own; freedom from bigotry.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell
NYCFotoWorks and The Beacon School in Manhattan partner for a creative look at tolerance.
Working with some of NYC's finest public school students, NYCFotoWorks brings together industry leaders of photography, a celebrated writer, and a former NYPD sergeant to work with and mentor high-school students attempting to creatively capture their vision of tolerance.
What is tolerance?
A select group of high school students from The Beacon School seek to demonstrate the many faces of tolerance in the most diverse city in the world.
